Glasgow is a real uni. Strathclyde is a polytechnic.

I done Civil Engineering at Glasgow and it’s much more design focused. So, if like most graduates you want to work in a consultancy, Glasgow is the place to go. Although, I work in contracting, so you know, what do I know.

As said above though, it should depend on where you want to live in Glasgow, if you like the “vibe” of one over the other as they are very different and once you graduate it won’t matter, all that will matter is what class of degree you got and what kind of experience you end up with.
