So this guy has committed fraud, or unjustified enrichment at best, being that you have paid him in exchange for something that has failed to materialise.
In Scot’s Law, when someone is using the shield of a company to protect themselves from liability, as seems to be the case with this guy, you can “pierce the corporate veil” by establishing that the company has been used to evade a personal right (in this case being that hed do the fucking work you payed for), and go after him personally.
Failing this, the company cannot simply be “dissolved” meaning they won’t pay you. If you sue them, it will be incredibly difficult for the company to be dissolved. Even if the company is dissolved before you sue them, I think there is a way to restore the company to the register for the purposes of legal proceedings.
