| Comment | If you live in Edinburgh and that's where your card is registered you won't get a discount on the subway/trains. Only cards registered in the old Strathclyde network are eligible. That said, on a train noone will give a fuck, but you'll only get the discount on travel within strathclyde (so larkhall to Oban-ish). The Strathclyde ones have a specific symbol.
It might not work on the subway as you need to get the ticket loaded onto the card - in that case it not being registered in Strathclyde may be a problem. Personally I'd chance it and see what happens. |
