Don't know if it will work for magpies - But a lot of places by the seaside have kites that look like birds of prey on their roof. Or even just a plastic hawk or something on your roof. Even if it scared half of them enough not to be around your house it would make a difference.
Used to live in Woodlands. The seagulls on my attic would drive me absolutely insane. So loud and their population is propped up by overflowing bins etc. |
