Housing associations are ‘social’ housing providers.
Often homes are allocated on the basis of need and so there is a points system associated with them. If you’re homeless with children you will be higher on the list than say, a single person who currently lives with their parents.

People are downvoting it as it’s just not that easy to get social housing and also £450 for a 2 bed apt isn’t that bad.
