Comment | This is incredibly important, we were paying 650 for a 2 bed flat in Shawlands which we started renting in 2013, we had a very fair landlord who made small increases to our rent which matched their costs.
Unfortunately they were nearly 80 and decides to sell up and we had to move a couple of months ago.
We are now paying just under 800 for a 1 bedroom flat round the corner. It's a slightly nicer flat with a bigger back garden, access to a wee private park etc but still, it illustrates the changes in the market and that if you didn't take up your lease in the last 6 months it's probably not relevant to what OP is asking.
If you pay 400 Pcm for a 3 bedroom townhouse in park Circus that you started renting in 19 diggety 2 it's probably not worth commenting. |
