If you're looking to take them to a music scene you'd maybe struggle as most as in bars and clubs. You could try the kelvin Grove bandstand. I haven't been myself but you'd maybe have more chance getting a kid in.

If it's just activities theres absolutely tonnes. Our schools go back around Aug 15th ish so depends when you come how busy it'll be. There's tonnes of museums & parks. My 8 year old loves clip n climb in kelvin hall & rollerstop.
Going up to Balloch for a swim. Football stadium tours.
