| Comment | Getting rid of traffic lights may be fine if you arent a child, lacking mobility, or in any way afraid of crossing busy traffic. On my daily nursery run I cross at least five dangerous junctions/intersections and one very narrow and dangerous pavement. Not one has a protected crossing of any sort. The reality of walking/driving in this city is that drivers need a big bastard shiny red light to make them think of stopping. Google research if you want to refute me, i dont care, I know the reality. |
