I go to the Gorbals mostly and sometimes Tollcross. I prefer Gorbals. If you're swimming lengths book a lane - if you're slow, book slow no matter how long a length takes you.
I don't like tollcross as I can't get in and out of the pool without using the steps - Gorbals you can lower yourself in and out without crossing lanes.
Tollcross can be busy, the leisure bit isn't a full pool, it's about 3 lanes. There tend to be swimming clubs, comps etc on with spectators so if you're self conscious it's not a good pool to go to.
Upside is it's generally easy enough to book a lane and they're open later than Gorbals.
ETA: it's newer, shinier and cleaner with nicer showers for the most part. |
