You may also wish to try and make contact with more (especially local) LGBTQ+ charities, groups and organisations to help add additional pressure and leverage to any reports you make. If the council get 50 emails and calls in asking to properly look at your cases or else it goes to the press, they are unlikely to ignore. This may sound a bit drastic, but I don't think it's unfounded if you feel under-served after reporting an unsafe incident. These organisations would be better equipped to advise you on this though, just a thought! |
