Sadly I don't have much to say that can help your situation practically, but just wanted to write that I'm sorry this has happened to you. I've had some experience with feeling threatened in my own close so I feel at least some of your pain.

Try to be ready to record immediately in future so you can capture it ahead of time, and take notes of when/where/who any altercations occur with. Don't let anyone convince you you're being ridiculous, their opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

In my experience the police were not much use, but documentation and mounting proof is (unfortunately) the way forward in these scenarios. Raise it, alongside any proof, with your local council body, your local Councillor/MP, the police on 101 (unless it's a direct threat to you in any way, in which case 999, don't be afraid to call there if your gut tells you to) and whatever the area ASBO team are these days. There may also be room to report to the Housing Association if these people rent from from. Continuing reporting through your social workers etc will also add up.

101 will also be the place to make continuous enquiries into the status of your assault investigation.

Be consistent and tenacious with reporting any instance however small and it will mount up and become unignorable. Ensure when you report that it is properly tied up with your other reports.

Whatever you can do to help regain your security is worthwhile, whether it be the RING camera doorbell you mentioned, extra locks etc.

If you have any neighbours you are friendly with, I would advise them of the situation and perhaps even have them do the same reporting that you are doing, if you felt comfortable to ask them.

I wish there was a more immediate solution, but this is the primary way I've seen situations like this get resolved. Moving somewhere else is the only 'immediate' solution, but I know thats a) unfair b) difficult in the current climate and ultimately c) unsatisfying.

I really do hope you do get some assistance, and that the situation improves. Nobody deserves to be made to feel negatively about their own home space, its nightmareish.

Best of luck and good wishes from me and remember that there's always a way forward, even when times are difficult.
