You need a physiotherapist. However, treatment will depend on what type of tendinitis - is it chronic, where is it?

Speaking from experience, sometimes only a cortisone injection will do the job. It’s very hard to get that on the NHS (you’ll need a referral, it will take 17 years), but paying for a private consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon sometimes works up cheaper than 20 sessions with a physio doing ultrasound on the affected part.
