I am surprised that anyone would get fined unless they draw attention to themselves but I suppose you get the occasional jobs worth cop. Regardless I am still usually cautious.
I often decant lager into my water bottle to avoid detection. Coffee cups are good too.
Mixing spirits in with soft drinks cannot be detected as the colour rarely changes.
I also dispose of empty cans as I go along so that there is not an obvious pile of empties. It’s not illegal to have unopened cans in your bag.
On occasion I also keep a couple of decoy empty bud zero empty cans as evidence of drinking zero alcohol stuff. It’s important to immediately bin any empty alcoholic cans the instant you finish them.
Being vigilant at all times is of course important too. |
