Check the salary scales on the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers website and the qualification requirements on https://teachinscotland.scot/
She'll need to apply for registration with the general teaching council for Scotland. It's taking them a long time to process applications at the moment. She may go in on the first level of the salary scale as she may be given provisional registration by GTCS, but once she's gained full registration she should be able to negotiate with her employer for recognition of her experience and the salary uplift.
Warning though, there is a dearth of teaching jobs at the moment because of stretched budgets and over recruitment at the universities and she may find it hard to find a job without experience of the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. |
