| Comment | The ibuprofen/period pain tablets one always irks me, bleeding out my fanny for three debilitating days is not a luxury, why should I pay extra for the pink box of "targeted period pain" pills when I can get tablets that have the exact same ingredients & amount of pain relief for literally pennies?
There's a lady I look after at work who shopped at Marks & Spencer's all her days as it was "posh" and back then good quality, so this rubbed off on her three daughters. The eldest of them we dubbed "Mrs Marks & Sparks", will eat anything that isn't from there, we had a discussion about the name brand/store band argument you mentioned, she looked like I'd shit in her shoe when I said in most cases her M & S digestives are made in the exact same factory as the cheap Morrisons own brand ones in the unit's biscuit tin. |
