| Comment | Shawlands and it's surrounding areas is exactly what you are describing, loads of independent shops and cafes, you have queens park on your doorstep for the dog and Pollock country park for even more green space half an hour's walk away. You can get out of the city in a few short train journeys if you fancy that (although the quality of the train service might be a slight let down if you are used to Japan!) |
