I am expressing my opinion on my experiences. Nothing wrong with that. It's your opinion if you think it's "over the top" but it is what it is.

I'm not assuming the worst at all. You can't just use someone else's furniture - that's what you call... entitlement. So aye, neighbours might get the wrong impression of you if you behave like a child without basic social norms or understanding.

It's actually really simple. Buy your own eggs and ASK if you can use their furniture.

I don't understand how people can be intelligent enough to get a university degree but not intelligent enough when it comes to common sense.

If you're neighbours don't want to include you then just take hint. You're only going to annoy them even more or cause them to dislike you more if you overdo it.

If the furniture taking up too much room bothers you... talk to them about it? Like I said. Common sense. If you've got the balls to ask them for eggs then you can surely talk to them about this.

Honestly, it sounds like they're just unfriendly. So why would you want to jump through hoops for people you don't even know? Never mind them. 🤷🏼‍♀️
