What I'm not sure about is whether you're supposed to pay and then claim it back via appeal. I'm remembering something about council tax working like that, so I'm not sure if it's the same with all council bills.
(edit: Which is what you're actually asking about. Sorry, not sure, but I think you're supposed to pay the bill by the due date while any appeals are pending then claim it back if the appeal is successful). |
