Comment | I think it's because it feels very put on by some people and as a result pretentious.
I went to Glasgow uni and did see one or two "develop" the accent.
If they came out of secondary speaking like that we'd be less irate.
It's the same way that, I hate nasally ned accents. But a wee rich cunt wae a nasally ned accent makes me angry cause they are clearly putting it on. |
