The price of public transport is insane. Look at London, £1.50 for a single bus trip, to anywhere in the city, including transfers withing an hour. Glasgow, £1.65 for a short single (literally less than half a mile), £2.40 for a regular single, not including transfers.

Public transport needs to be nationalised. First, mcgills, avondale, all of these companies are pure fucking horseshit. People don't take buses because they're so expensive, then the buses are always late because there's so much traffic on the road because people drive instead of using public transport. There needs to be a culture change in relation to transport in this city and it begins with making transport affordable for all.
