It's been days of hard powerful downpours. Localised flooding everyday. All it takes is 1 tiny gap somewhere and rain like that is in. It can't dry out before the next day of hard heavy downpour.
Been caught in it a few times and it's definitely not the rain we're used to here. Football last night might be an example how it really wasn't normal.
