Call 111 and tell them your at risk of being exposed to rabies. You need the vaccine. A doctor needs to talk to infectious diseases and track down the vaccines for you. It is not negotiable. Rabies is preventable with the vaccine but deadly once symptomatic. Sorry to put it so bluntly but that is a fact. Your GP or whoever you talked with at the surgery has dropped the ball if they didn’t talk with infectious diseases for a plan on getting the vaccine or what to do if they can’t. |
