I’d say it definitely adds value yeah! I designed the sponsorship package that gets sent out to local businesses and a massive selling point within it is how your business is affiliated with/promoted by the brand. To be honest I’m not sure how many, if any, sponsors we’d get if the conference wasn’t a TEDx conference
