Second night of my semester abroad in glasgow my roommate and I went to an oldies club by accident but decided to stick it out and we met this lady who asked where we were from. When my roommate said Chicago she was so excited and then said "Oh! My brother was held up at gunpoint there once!" And then she bought us both gin and tonics and disappeared 🫶🏾😭
