I've been driving for many ~~years~~ decades, never gotten one of these fines (not that I am a saint).
You *might* have grounds for appeal. Can't say for sure, would need to double-check the Highway Code (and possibly traffic legislation), but one can usually cross solid white lines and the like to avoid an obstruction/slow moving vehicle. |
