| Comment | Not always as simple as that unfortunately. It was hard enough finding openings with when the economy wasn't in complete free fall. Even when if do find one, its often you against sometimes over a hundred applicants. Plus, the new job - if its in hospitality - will also likely be paying minimum wage as its endemic in the sector. Not to mention that unemployment benefits haven't moved since they were slashed down to £70 a week more than ten years ago. Its better to stay and fight. |
