Be honest, how much do you make from tips? I worked in hospitality in Glasgow for years, with friends still at some establishments on Byres Road - it's between £2.50 and £6.00 tips per HOUR minimum in the West End. And workers almost never declare their tips as earnings, therefore they are tax free for both them and the business they are working for. Work at Sugo or Paesano 48 hours a week and your real annual earnings are honestly £45k after tax
