| Comment | I agree, my intention was to say that you could convert a van with really kind of minimal tools. Obviously the more features like gas from a gas locker are required then the complexity, cost, skill and tool requirements go up.
If you are doing any gas fitting you will need other tools. Fortunately the BT Openreach van came with a fitted gas locker, fitted two ring burner (removed and not visible in my pics) and a pre-fitted genuine eberspacher (under the right kitchen cabinet. There is a 60mm cavity in all walls and roof. Insulation retrofitted behind the cladding and fitted before the sub-floor was laid. |
