That’s what science informed Physiotherapy. Manual work/hands on has very little evidence as a standalone treatment, and is only really used to help toward some kind of active management e.g. reduce pain temporarily to facilitate exercise.

But I would say its on the Physio to understand your expectations and educate appropriately so that you are jointly making decisions about care. It seems that maybe this wasn’t done very well given your message.
