| Comment | All I can say is write to your local MP/MSP. Lecturers real term pay has dropped 25-30% in the last 10 years. Some single lecturers I know have had to sell their car, downsize their flat, go part time as nursery fees eat into their income. I appreciate a lot of people are being hit hard and worse at the moment (which is a failure of this country).
These are quite literally experts in their field normally educated to doctorate level. It is a disgrace. |
