When I was last in Glasgow I saw an American guy, maybe 22 to 25, wearing a kilt and trying to chat up a woman about the same age. She told him her name, which I can't remember, but it was the same name as many in Scotland. He said something along the lines of "that's such a weird name!".
I nearly lost my balance from how much cringe I was feeling.
