It was exactly this attitude that saw swathes of Glasgow's grand Victorian architecture get torn down before they started sand-blasting everything in the 1980s.
The big deal is that it's one of the few great buildings by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson actually still standing.
Maybe you don't like it, but there are plenty of others who do. |
