I think in general people need to start getting dog licenses again. Dogs are mostly great but the owners that let them shit near kids play areas are the worst and while the risk is low can result in going blind.
Dangerous dogs do need to be outlawed as no matter how well they are trained there is always an unexpected circumstance that might set them off. Doesn't matter how nice they normally are. Almost every dog attack is XL bully and they've shown time and time again that they can't be controlled. They are a dangerous weapon and should be treated as such. |
