I’ve been told by some mates who work at First that these services aren’t even making enough to cover the fuel used, never mind the drivers wages and all additional costs involved in running these services outwith normal operating hours.
You’d be better contacting SPT or your MSP who can then try and get subsidised late night services if they deem them vital to the community. Might be a hard sell though given lots of late night workers are already getting free or subsidised taxis home and going into the town to get pished until 3am isn’t really vital to the community, even if enjoyable for some. |
