Even at that anything less than once every 60 minutes would arguably be pretty pointless. Imagine you go on a night out with friends and they leave the club at 2am and the next train is at 3:30am. Are you going to wait an hour and a half or just get a taxi? I think 95% of people would opt for the taxi.
Also how empty would the train inevitably be at that time and would it be safe? I’m not sure as a young girl I’d feel safe getting on a mostly empty train at whatever hour in the morning.
Although I think something should be done because if it weren’t for my parents having cars that are also thankfully LEZ compliant (which not everyone will have) I can get home from nights out when you have 3 different taxi apps open and yet none can find a driver in all of Glasgow. |
