| Comment | The direction of a hackspace is dictated by the members. Whilst they tend to hands-on makery things, that does not **need to be** the case.
The hackspace I was was member of had various pieces of industrial equipment (table saws, column drills CNC etc), also seeing machines, a computer lab, chill out area, desks for crafting/collaboration, and even more.
If you are a member and you want *thing*, make the case and advocate for it. Get other members on board and get it pushed through. |
