Prestwick and Ayr are nice places to live, has good transport links, easy access to Glasgow. Eventually I'll relocate down there because I feel it's a better quality of life. It's quieter, you have the hills and the beach, property is comparatively cheaper and there's still some decent pubs. I also have many friends there though so that helps.

Can be a bit of a village where lots of people know each other around the same age when you're out for a night on the town.

There's rough bits but show me a Scottish town or city which doesn't have them.
