| Comment | I’m in that situation. Our flat is tiny, technically a new build but actually a conversion of an office building from the 60s. Our council tax is Band E, which we had to fight for because it was originally F (like some of the slightly bigger flats in the building).
We’re paying like a 3-4 bedroom house while the desirable sandstone/tenement buildings have lower rates. It’s a fucked up system. |
