| Comment | Anybody can run a bus service. It is a deregulated free market.
They register it, wait for approval from the traffic commissioner and start operating. You need a fit and proper person to be a transport manager with the appropriate CPC and you need a maintenance base for your vehicles.
The people of this sub could crowdfund and start a bus service and run it they way they want as a solution to moaning like fuck about bus services on the daily. Could be ran as a non profit.
Easy bit of publicity for McGills here but the services will be off within a year if the passenger numbers don’t increase. Not the First time McGills will have thrown money at a dead rubber project to stick a couple of fingers up at the competition. |
