From one Jambo to another… whilst I’d say an internship or real life experience would be nice it’s not a deal breaker.

We recently hired an electrical engineer grad for a semi senior role. What got him the job was eagerness to learn and actually start his career. He worked in a supermarket all through uni.

You should heavily consider looking into working for Scottish Power as a network designer I’m sure they’ll have a grad scheme or multi utility design companies. EV charging is big business to them atm.
