If he doesn’t take to you, leave him be. Just talk to him conversationally and see if he bites.
Edit: this is obv more about getting to know him for certain if you can and knowing more about his situation, also letting him feel he’s got a friend in you if he needs to reach out on his own accord. Unfortunately, he might be stubborn and set in his ways. |
