| Comment | Any car park (or tarmac surface) is brutal in hot weather. With a TRNSMT-sized crowd you'd have a significant number of people needing medical attention.
Plus there are still events running in the SECC so they need their car park.
Part of the advantage of the Green is that it's relatively accessible by public transport, and walking distance from city-centre hotels.
And the build and de-build process could happen quicker if there weren't residents nearby that would get upset with noisy works happening overnight. |
