| Comment | Most people who move here - who have some outdated image of Glasgow being rough and unsafe - will move to the West End.
You will struggle to find a rental there - student central - and if you want to buy, prepare to pay significantly over the asking price. You may struggle to find anywhere to rent in any of the places that people mention on here as being ‘safe’ as, well, lots of other people also want to live in these places.
I live in an area that someone else here has labelled unsafe, but have never experienced any evidence of this. It’s one of the friendliest places I’ve ever lived. |
