| Comment | Not so. Some people will refuse to cut a child’s hair hair if they are upset. I took my son to a different hairdresser who literally spent a minute cutting his hair and then told me to bring him back in 6 weeks to do the same thing until ‘he got used to it’. Keep in mind my son was three at this point, had had countless haircuts and still hated it and cried the place down every single time. I tried cutting his hair at home, with clippers, with scissors, every way I can think of and it’s always the same.
When you find a hairdresser who will help you get the job done and can understand that your child is just responding differently the whole thing is so much less stressful. |
