As a fan of Bis I don't remember hearing of them buying or buying into the 13 Note but they were closely associated with it in the 90s - maybe it was a rumour based on perceived "Top of the Pops" or Cartoon Network money. I think at least one of the guys owns Sparklehorse in Partick and Bell Jar in Govanhill.
