What is your point exactly? Obviously the IRA were terrorists but it's stuff that all happened in recent history and that living, present day folk in Scotland/Ireland were and still are impacted by directly.

I was simply pointing out that celebrating a 300 year old battle based on killing catholics is not even in the same ballpark as commemorating members of the IRA fighting for their country's freedom. One of them is just blatant racism/sectarianism that no one in the present day has any business supporting.
The other is admittedly quite a polarising topic but one that at least directly affects people involved.
I'm not condoning any of the actions of either side of the conflict in ireland, I'm pointing out that you calling it hypocrisy is just completely wrong.
