These hard left/hard right nutters are mostly sheep who will blindly follow a few ringleaders and defend the argument their side is on to the death. They get to feel part of something.
Extreme politics has seen a rise over the last 10/15 years or so, ignited by social media and further fuelled by a few big political events.
Hard lefties and the hard right argue with emotion rather than logic. Both think they are morally and technically correct but because they are arguing with emotion they are unable to see things from different perspectives or even balance.
Every political argument you see online is full of manipulated facts and figures and even straight up lies in a big game of oneupmanship.
This sub must be one of the best examples of groupthink. People get swept up with the loud voices on the internet. They spend so much time on the internet that it becomes their reality. |
