| Comment | If it's done in the same appointment/ treatment then private prices will apply for everything done. Was due to get a white filling on a pre molar which turned out to need root canal. Dentist advised me that due to current regs if I got the root canal and then white filling once done, I'd pay private cost for the root canal (~£450) Vs £45 for NHS root canal if I opted for amalgam. Daftest thing is he advised I could get the silver filling done to avoid the crazy cost for root canal, then come in the next day and ask to change to a white filling. Dentistry in the UK is mental |
