I've also had both. Had loads of silver ones then switched and decided to cough up and pay private (signed up to dental insurance). I haven't found any difference between the two. I think the silver ones are supposed to last longer? Not sure how true that is.
People usually just pay more for cosmetic reasons. I personally pay for them because I became concerned about the mercury being in my mouth/my exposure level because I had so many dental issues. |
