Yeh my partner pays for the fancy stuff and I just think its a bit of a waste of money/brand loyalty. You can check/compare the ppm of flouride yourself. It's always on the back.

Okay, I just checked and my aldi one is 1450ppm. NHS says 1350 - 1500ppm is best. I think the 1500ppm is maximum in the UK before it gets into the medical/prescribed toothpaste zone.
